This newly compiled and mastered soundtrack celebrates Gerry Anderson’s return to a puppet series especially created for the 40th Anniversary.
The album features the music of Richard Harvey, who combined his knowledge of classical orchestral music with the then latest synthesised music techniques. It includes the Terrahawks main theme, episode scores and the songs performed by Kate Kestrel.

Listening with a pair of headphones, you get the absolute range of the stereo instruments in clear space as well as the boom of the bass and the crispness of the treble instrument sounds. Over 2 hours of brilliantly composed and performed orchestral and synthesized instruments, evoking a wide range of emotional, dynamic arrangements for the puppet series onscreen. Also included are a few musical songs by the great Kate Kestral, sung by the beautiful voice of Moya Griffiths as she was known back then. Tracks include the fast energy of SOS Mr. Tracy and Living in the 21st Century. This brand new 2 CD set includes a full-color booklet of 14 interior pages celebrating this top-notch, triumphant musical score soundtrack that is a must-listen for all fans of Richard Harvey's talent as a composer and musician. I'm thrilled to have this on CD. Highly recommended!

This set may not have every music cue from the series as I think most of it has been lost over the years but what's here sounds perfect, even sounding better than listening to the music in the episodes. I can understand why there is not a vinyl release like the barry gray releases with this being a 2 disc set, but maybe a trimmed down version without the bonus material, just focus on the episodes scores. Still finally some Richard Harvey musical love. 10:10 SIR!!
