Having just bought myself a turntable after many years and finding out about these releases it was a no brainer, thick card sleeves lots of info in the gatefold sleeve and the pressing on coloured vinyl are superb, no surface noise whatsoever, really brings memorys of what was always a great score to all Gerry's stuff. very interesting to listen to certain motiffs that keep popping up across all 3, so far, soundtracks, listening to supercar and thinking hold on a minute i thought that was thunderbirds! and indeed they are in both shows in a slight re-arranged version. hopefully there will be many more releases in the future, Fireball XL5, Joe 90, Stingray, Captain Scarlet and the like but get them straight away as it seems these are now sold out. An amazing product that sounds great and looks beautiful. I really hope more are on the way.
Just as we finish watching Supercar for the first time this lovely treat came in the post. It’s a lovely set and the sherbet yellow vinyl discs are beautiful. The music is typically superb but then I wasn’t expecting less from Barry Gray. I really hope we get more of these soundtracks on disc soon!
I caught up with Supercar later as I was a little too young when it first aired this is a great keepsake and I love the colour.
Liked very much actually, there are themes on it used in Gerrys other productions, UFO, Introducing Thunderbirds, other Thunderbird and Penelope stuff and some bars from the man from MI5' oh and Fab 1 on the road, there's also a version of the Vianese Waltz, not a bad mix really!
